45-minute session

Often better for younger children, who tire sooner.

£30per session

45 minutes, weekly

  • Everything in the 60-minute session, in less time
  • A single focus rather than two
  • Suited to children still building their concentration

Blocks are paid up front. If you stop part-way through, unused sessions are refunded.

Two children

If you have more than one.

Both of these are priced for the visit rather than per child, because the travel is the same either way.

Siblings, back to back£60 for two

Two separate one-to-one sessions in the same visit, one after the other. Each child gets their own session, planned for them.

Paired tutoring£25 per child / £50 total

Available for two children working at a similar level and towards similar learning goals, to ensure sessions remain focused and beneficial for both children.

Included as standard

Whichever option you choose.

  • Travel to your home across South Manchester
  • All books, resources and materials
  • Planning and preparation between sessions
  • A short written update after every session
  • No registration fee and no minimum commitment

The terms

The bits people usually have to ask about.

Paying
Bank transfer after each session, or up front for a block.
Cancelling
24 hours' notice and there is no charge. Less than that and the session is charged, because the time is already set aside.
Outside the area
If you are beyond South Manchester there may be a small travel charge. It is agreed before the first session, never added afterwards.
Changing your mind
There is no contract and no notice period. Blocks are paid up front, and unused sessions are refunded if you stop part-way through.

Not sure which one fits?

Tell me your child's year group and what you have noticed, and I will tell you honestly which of these I would suggest — or whether tutoring is the right thing at all.
