Mind & Bloom

Privacy

What happens to your information.

In plain English, and deliberately short — because this site collects very little.

Who this is about

Mind & Bloom is a small, independent tutoring service. When you send an enquiry, the person receiving and using your information is the tutor who runs it — there is no wider company, and no team with access.

What I collect

Only what you type into the enquiry form: your name, your email address, optionally your phone number, your child's school year, the main area you would like support with, roughly where you are, how you would prefer to be contacted, and anything you choose to write in the message box.

I do not ask for your child's name, date of birth, school, medical information or anything about their special educational needs at enquiry stage. Please do not send those details in the message box either — if any of it becomes relevant once we are working together, we can talk about it properly then.

Why I collect it

To reply to your enquiry and work out whether I can help. That is the only reason.

Under UK GDPR the lawful basis is your consent, which you give by ticking the box on the form. You can withdraw it at any time by asking me to delete your enquiry.

What I do not do

I do not sell or share your details with anyone. I do not add you to a mailing list. I do not use your enquiry for advertising, and I do not build a profile about you or your child.

How long I keep it

If we do not go on to work together, I delete your enquiry once the conversation has clearly finished — normally within six months.

If we do work together, I keep the minimum needed to run the arrangement, such as contact details and session records, and delete them within a reasonable period after the tutoring ends.

Cookies and analytics

This website sets no cookies of its own and there is no advertising or tracking on it. That is why you are not being asked to accept anything.

If privacy-conscious analytics are added in future — the kind that count visits without cookies or personal data — this page will be updated to say so before it happens.

Where your information is held

Enquiries are sent by email and stored in the tutor's email account. The website itself does not keep a database of enquiries.

Your rights

You can ask to see what I hold about you, ask me to correct it, or ask me to delete it. Just get in touch and I will sort it out — there is no formal process to go through.

If you are ever unhappy with how I have handled your information, you can complain to the Information Commissioner's Office at ico.org.uk.

Children's information

The enquiry form is for parents and carers, not for children. The little I ask about a child — their school year and the area they need help with — is kept to the minimum needed to answer your question sensibly.

Getting in touch

For anything on this page, or to ask me to delete your enquiry, contact me at mindandbloomlearning@gmail.com or through the enquiry form.
